Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all tutoring services provided by Scholars’ Harbour Tutoring Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or receiving tutoring services, the client (“you”) agrees to these terms.
Services Provided
We offer academic tutoring sessions delivered either in person or online. Session length, format, and pricing are communicated at the time of booking. All tutors are independent professionals contracted by us.
Booking & Payment
Sessions must be booked in advance through our website, email, or other agreed method.
Reservations are provisional, with no payment or card details required when reserving now. Evening 1:1 tuition is available from November 2026; payment arrangements will be confirmed with you before your first lesson. For January 2027 11+ group courses, payment is requested in January before the course begins to confirm your place. Prices are £150 for a six-session 11+ group course, £45 per hour for primary, 11+ and KS3 1:1 tuition, and £55 per hour for GCSE / KS4 1:1 tuition, including home education. Unpaid provisional reservations may be cancelled without charge before payment confirmation. Once payment-at-booking opens, payment will be required for new bookings.
24‑Hour Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will be charged at the full session rate.
If a tutor cancels due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative session time or a full refund for that session.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late to a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time. If the tutor arrives late, the missed time will be added to the session or rescheduled at no additional cost.
